Who we are

ZAREA is a women's fashion label operating an online store hosted on Shopify. If you need to reach us about your data, use the form on our Contact page.

What we collect today

At this stage the site collects very little:

• If you join the private list: your email address, and optionally your first name, city and the product categories you tick.
• If you send us a message: your name, email address and whatever you write.
• Automatically: standard analytics and security data collected by Shopify, our hosting platform, such as pages viewed and general location.

We do not currently process payments, so we hold no card or bank details.

How we use it

Your email is used to tell you when ZAREA opens and to send occasional updates you have consented to. Your city and category selections are stored as tags against your customer record so we can make those updates relevant rather than generic. Messages you send are used to reply to you.

What we do not do

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We do not send marketing to people who have not asked for it.

Where it is stored

Your data is held within Shopify, our e-commerce platform, which stores and processes data on our behalf under its own security and privacy terms.

Unsubscribing

Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and it works immediately. You can also write to us and ask to be removed.

Your rights

You may ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Contact us through the form and we will action it.

Cookies

The site uses cookies set by Shopify for basic functionality, security and aggregate analytics. You can control cookies in your browser settings.

Changes

When this policy changes we will update the date at the top and, for anything significant, tell the people on our list rather than change it quietly.
