The Silhouette

Small fabric flowers, cut in blue and ivory and stitched in three dimensions across pale blue tulle, so the decoration sits above the surface rather than printed into it. Fine embroidered vines run between them. Ribbon straps tie in a bow at each shoulder above a ruffled sweetheart edge, and the skirt falls full to a soft petal hem. There is real give in the mesh, which keeps a decorated dress from feeling stiff.
