The bodice ties into a soft bow at the centre of a sweetheart neckline, with short ruffled sleeves sitting just off the shoulder. Below it the waist is shirred tight, so the skirt breaks into real fullness and keeps moving all the way to the ankle. The dot is printed small and evenly, which is what keeps it looking considered rather than costume. Woven cotton with a trace of elastane. It is the least complicated dress in the edit and the easiest to wear from morning through to dinner.

Fitted through the bodice and waist, then flared. The cloth has no stretch, so if you are between sizes take the larger for room across the bust. Available S–XL.
