The Silhouette

Worked in heavy guipure crochet — swirling rosette medallions joined by open bars, so the cloth is as much gap as thread. It fastens with a tie behind the neck and falls as two separate front panels that hang either side of an open centre, with a bare back between them. Fine beaded fringe hangs from the open edges and the scalloped hem and moves when you do. This is a layer: it is designed to be worn over something, and the piece underneath is part of how it reads.

Fit & Sizing

Slim fit through the panels, with no stretch in the crochet. Because the front does not close, the bust figure describes the two panels rather than a closed circumference. Measurements below are the garment, not the body. Available XS–L.

Styling Notes

Do not buy this expecting a closed top. It is a layering piece — a silk camisole or a fitted bodysuit underneath, in the same tone if you want the crochet to read as texture, or in a contrast if you want it to read as a pattern over colour.
